Below you'll find answers to some frequently asked questions relating to planning a visit to Broad St. Mall during this time. 

 

What are the Centre’s current opening hours?

The shopping centre is open from 8am – 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 5pm on a Sunday. We would advise customers to check the websites of individual retailers for opening times before visiting the centre, as these may vary.

How can I enter/exit the centre?

All entrances & exits are open including to carpark.

Can I pay by cash or will it be card payment only?

Please check with our individual retailers regarding what payment methods are being accepted at this time. We do advise that you are prepared to make contactless payment where possible.

What measures are in place to ensure customers' safety?

We are committed to making a visit to Broad St. Mall as safe as possible and the wellbeing of our visitors and staff remains our priority.

We have a range of measurements in place around the centre, including

  • Guidance signage in place throughout the centre to help navigate the centre safely.
  • Hand sanitiser stations located around the centre.
  • Regular cleaning of touchpoints.

Do I have to wear a face covering when visiting?

We encourage all who visit the Centre to wear face coverings for the wellbeing and safety of all our customers and staff, unless you are exempt. 

Do you have hand sanitisers onsite visitors can use?

We have increased the number of hand sanitising stations throughout the centre and in our stores. These are available for everyone to use for free.

Will I be able to access the lifts?

Yes, however we are encouraging visitors to use the stairs and escalators where possible to avoid crowding the lifts. Priority lift access should be given to the Elderly, disabled customers, and those with pushchairs.

Are there seating areas available?

A selective number of seating is available around the centre and priority should be given to Elderly and Vulnerable people.

Is the car park open?

The car park is operating as usual; however, we ask customers to maintain a safe distance when entering and leaving your vehicle. Visitors can pay at the pay stations with cash and card as normal.

What stores are open and what are their trading hours?

All retail stores are open, individual trading times may vary to the opening hours of the mall and may change at short notice so we advise contacting the stores directly prior to visiting the mall. For more information go to;

Are the food outlets open?

All of our Restaurants and Café’s are open and where available, are offering indoor dining, takeaway & delivery through online/app ordering systems  Please check with stores directly for detail. 

 Will I need to queue to get into a store?

To maintain social distancing, stores will be limiting the number of customers allowed in at any one time. Queuing systems will be in place where needed to ensure customer capacity is not exceeded.    

Are the toilets and baby changing area open?

Toilet facilities are open, we ask that people adhere to the social distancing guidelines when using them and take care over personal hygiene. Regular cleaning and sanitation of these areas is in place.
