Reading Pride is just around the corner, and we’re here to help you get into the spirit! Join us on Friday, August 30th, from 10am to 3pm for a day of Pride prep that’s sure to get you excited for the big event.
The MyUmbrella LGBT+ team will be on hand to bring the energy and enthusiasm. MyUmbrella LGBT+ is a volunteer-led project by Reading Pride, dedicated to raising awareness of lesser-known identities across the full spectrum of sexuality, gender identity, expression within the LGBTQ+ community.
Starting at 11 am, come and meet the fabulous Lady M! This spectacular drag queen will be getting ready for her main stage performance at Reading Pride, and you can snap a photo with her here at the centre before she takes the spotlight. Lady M will also be handing out lots of FREE Pride-themed goodies to help you celebrate in style.
And to get you fully into the Pride spirit, we’ll have FREE glitter art available too, so you can show off your Pride excitement as you prep for the big celebration!
