Manzano’s at Broad Street Mall will be opening on Christmas Day to provide free meals for homeless people and those in need.
The restaurant will be offering a free hot meal, along with a dessert and a drink, to members of the community who are struggling to afford food. The giveaway will run from 1pm to 4pm on Thursday, December 25, and will be available for dine-in only. There is no need to book in advance.
Owner Asam Aziz said the decision to open on Christmas Day was driven by a desire to support vulnerable people and bring the community together, adding that the initiative aims to promote unity and compassion during the festive period.
