Celebrate Older Persons’ Day 2026 at Broad Street Mall Reading

Age UK Older Persons’ Day 2026 is coming to Broad Street Mall on Thursday 1 October, bringing a fun-filled day of entertainment, information, activities and community support for all ages.

The event celebrates the resilience and contribution of older people in our changing world, while bringing the local community together in the heart of Reading.

Whether you’re an older person, joining a family member or simply looking for a fun community event, everyone is welcome.

What’s happening at Older Persons’ Day?

There’s plenty to see and do throughout the day, with activities and information designed to help you connect, have fun and discover useful local support.
