Let’s Talk Mental Health Saturday 16th May

Events What's On

Saturday 16th May | 11am – 3pm

Join us at Broad Street Mall as we mark Mental Health Awareness Week with a community-focused event dedicated to breaking stigma and starting conversations that truly matter.

From 11am to 3pm, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with local charities, discover support services in your area, and learn more about mental wellbeing in a welcoming and inclusive space.

We’re proud to be working alongside Every Little Thing Festival, created in memory of Diva. This inspiring initiative raises awareness around mental health, wellness, and suicide prevention – offering hope, support, and connection to those who need it most.

The team will be joining us on the day to share their powerful message and continue their important work within the community.

Adding to the uplifting atmosphere, our much-loved mascot Topsy will be making a special appearance, bringing smiles, free goodies, and plenty of photo opportunities for visitors of all ages.

There’s something for your taste buds too – enjoy FREE muffin samples from Muffin Break during your visit.

We’re also delighted to welcome a range of organisations who will be on hand to offer information, guidance, and support, including The Race Project, Project Salama, and Compass Recovery College, with even more to be announced – so keep your eyes peeled.

Come along, start a conversation, and be part of a day focused on connection, understanding, and community support.
