If you’ve entered the new decade with a yearning to unleash your imagination and let your creativity run wild, we know just the people to help.
Jelly has been championing the creative arts, here in Reading since 1993. A charity dedicated to creating opportunities for people to enjoy the creative arts as spectators and participants – believing wholly in its power to delight, intrigue, challenge, enrich and even heal individuals.

Their range of workshops held here in Broad St. Mall is extensive and spans all ages and abilities and the low cost to participate, makes them completely accessible to all.

Jelly Tots is a series of events specifically aimed at the little ones with arts and crafts based story times, after schools clubs and more.

Their adult classes cover a range of mediums from beginners drawing and painting to mono printing and life drawing.

This special evening session will be a chance to have a go at monoprinting. Suitable for total beginners and experienced artists alike. Led by Linda Newcombe, a highly experienced printmaker with many years as an adult education tutor.

Every Monday term time - 10.30am to 11.30am

Pre School Art Club  - each week our artist host will theme arts and crafts based on a story. At the end of each session the children will gather to hear a story read by our artist. Books coming up The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, I want my hat back by Jon Klassen and How Many Legs by Kes Grey and Jim Field.

Jelly Tots Play

Every Wednesday term time - 10.30am to 11.30am

A colourful morning of art and creative play for pre schoolers. Each week we look at the work of different artists, play with mixing colours, try out art techniques and make things that can be continued to be played with and provide inspiration for future art work at home. Artists and techniques that we will be looking at over this term Grayson Perry, shadow art, Maud Lewis, Brancusi and Gyotaku.
