In conjunction with the Reading Pride parade and festival on Saturday 3rd September, Broad Street Mall invite visitors to get ready for the celebrations at the centre.
From 9am -2pm there will be FREE face painting and glitter art available. Plus, from 9am-12pm you’ll have the chance to get a selfie with the mall’s mascot Topsy. He’ll also be helping you to get parade ready with a host of rainbow themed giveaways.
Topsy may even be spotted waving his flag, as he takes part in the Reading Pride parade from 11am at Reading Train station.
On Saturday 27th August, as part of the Pride celebrations, Jelly will be running a free workshop in Central Square between 10am-12pm to create a community art piece which will then be displayed in their studio window. This will be a free and inclusive workshop for everyone to get involved with and have their chance to contribute to the display.
