Another spectacular 'switch on' ceremony. Every year just gets better!

The show started with finalists of this summer's 'Has Reading Got Talent' event and included dancers and singers alike. The special guest this year was John Altman, or 'Nasty Nick Cotton' as we know him from Eastenders. As ever in a mean mood, 'nasty nick' theatened to set the lights off early and had to be firmly told off by 107fm's Rob, one of the shows hosts.

It turns out that nasty nick - John Altman - is really a very nice man after all. He comes from Reading, supports Reading and was only too pleased to sign autographs for the waiting fans.
